For many years the Georgian Concert Society received substantial core funding from the Scottish Arts Council (now Creative Scotland). Since this was withdrawn in 2009 the Society has survived on a modest grant from Chamber Music Scotland (through funding provided by Creative Scotland), income from ticket sales and donations from its generous Supporters. Sponsorship is also sought from local businesses and institutions as well as charitable trusts and foundations, but raising the required funds on an annual basis is the biggest challenge facing the Society.
